A mystic called to a foreign land in hopes of stilling the restlessness inside them.
They are a 19-year-old mystic who traveled from a land called Kaitrow (STC), located to the far southwest of Zelyra, Tou, and Ilonia.
J'Noah is wise beyond their years and duty-driven to a fault. A childhood of dedication to their craft and isolation from their family during formative years led to a quiet and seemingly agreeable demeanor. Unintentionally, J'Noah has made magic and wisdom their entire personality. It isn't until they fall into an unwanted allyship with Aniya and Derrik that they realize how much they've buried deep. Aniya's rebellious and impulsive nature and Derrik's confidence (i.e. arrogance) and bluntness make J'Noah irritable (i.e. jealous). They want to express their feelings and boundaries, but don't know how to take that first step and admit their faults.

Backstory
As a child, their family realized early on how gifted J'Noah was with magic. Proud and excited, they encouraged the child to learn from a widely respected witch doctor in a different community. At a young age, they knew they didn't want to, but couldn't say no—this was for the better of their family and community. So they agreed.
After years of apprenticing miles away from family and peers still playing childish games, J'Noah came home wanting. J'Noah takes on many responsibilities (such as protecting the community and performing rituals) and they weren't even out of their teen years yet. Driven by duty, J'Noah does what they feel is best for the world, their community, and their family—but not often what's best for them.
Back home in Kaitrow, they noticed a shift in the world, in Afai. Other mystics from their town and neighboring communities didn't feel this shift as strongly as they did. They were torn over what they could do with all this information, where would they go, and what they could do to make a difference until the last vision. A vision of an eagle made of wind and sand came to her in the night, whisking them away to an intense snowstorm in the middle of a mountain range. Before they woke, they heard the eagle whisper "Zelyra." They did a quick locating spell, and after saying goodbye to their family and community, followed the spell's pull across the land.
In their travels, they met Meeta—a large wolf that can communicate with them through telepathy. They realize they have common goals and continue to Zelyra together.
